This service is available on Android devices. Remember, Google Translate app doesn’t include this functionality to record the voice of Google translate. Feel free to download an easy voice recorder. Instead of saving translations in the translate app, you have to save translations to a phrasebook instead. Here are some easy steps to record Google translate voice on android.

Easy Voice Recorder

Find Google translate app on the home screen or check the in-app drawer. Feel free to log in as per the prompts. 

  • Select the languages to translate by using a drop-down arrow. It will help you to choose the right language to translateClick the “Text” field so that a keyboard will appear.
  • Type in that you want to translate.
  • Tap on the camera icon to translate any picture.
  • Feel free to click on the microphone icon so that you can record your voice to translate.Google Translates

Open Voice Recorder           

After installing this app, you will notice a blue microphone on your home screen. You may find this app on the home screen or app drawer or feel free to search. You will find Easy Voice Recorder app in the Play Store of Google.

Click on “Got it” because this app will need your permission to access your microphone. You can see a red record button in the middle of the screen. Tap on this button and microphone will pick up your sound for recording.

Google Translate

Now open Google Translate in your tabletThe Google Translate app will give you easy access to this service. Tap on the icon of a speaker next to a translated phrase. Your Google Translate will speak a translated phrase.

Click the stop icon in the widget motivation center at the top of your screen. Access this speaker button by swiping downward from your top screen. Move to the “Listen” tab in your Easy Voice Recorder.

Save Translations to a Phrasebook

In Google translate app, you have to select a language for translation. Hit the text field to access the keyboard. Type your text and tap the microphone icon to translate it. 

Now you have to click the star icon. You will find it in the top of the blue tile of translated phrase. This phrase can be saved to phrasebook in Google Translate. Click on three parallel lines “Menu” and choose “Phrasebook” to see saved phrases. Google Translates    

Other Third-Party Apps

Feel free to use third-party apps to translate voice recording. For instance, Dragon Dictation may handle the recordings. After recording, you will be able to read the text. It is available in 30 different languages. 

Moreover, you can download Evernote. This app can track your inspirations and ideas. Use this app to record some audio notes, such as meetings and lectures. It is possible to turn your audio files into text.
